Preparing for Your Remodeling Service

Our goal is to make your remodeling experience as convenient as possible while providing quality renovation services to all our customers.

We encourage you to read the following items to prepare for your remodeling project:

Project Hours

Our remodeling teams work between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasionally, our crews may need to stay past 5 p.m. to complete specific tasks. We will make every effort to communicate any schedule adjustments in advance.

Project Preparation

We ask that you clear the work areas of personal belongings and remove any valuable items from adjacent spaces. Additional charges may apply for spaces that require extensive preparation or clearing before work can begin.

Change Orders

If additional work is requested during the project, your contract rate will be adjusted according to the scope of the changes. This will be documented in a change order that requires your approval before proceeding.

Property Access

All customers need to provide us with access instructions to their property at the time of contract signing. For apartments and condo complexes, please arrange any necessary permits and elevator access in advance. If we do not have accurate access instructions upon arrival, there will be a $150 delay fee. During the renovation, our teams will secure the workspace and will not allow any unauthorized persons to enter.

Safety Protocols

Due to insurance and safety regulations, our crews follow strict safety protocols. Certain tasks may require specialized equipment or additional safety measures, which will be outlined in your project plan. We maintain OSHA compliance throughout all our projects.

Security Systems

Please ensure that your security system is properly configured for our work hours. If you choose to provide us with security system instructions, we will not be responsible for any accidental triggering of alarms.

Children and Occupancy

For safety reasons, the work area must be completely vacated during certain phases of construction. We will provide advance notice of these times. W Kitchen and Bath reserves the right to pause work if safety protocols are not followed.

Pets

Please keep pets away from the construction area at all times. We will not be responsible for pets that enter the work zone.

Property Protection and Liability

We take extensive precautions to protect your property, including:

  • Installing protective barriers
  • Using drop cloths and floor protection
  • Sealing off work areas to contain dust
  • Protecting adjacent surfaces

However, we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Pre-existing structural issues
  • Unforeseen conditions behind walls
  • Items left in the work area
  • Damage to unstable or improperly installed fixtures
  • Normal settling or movement during renovation

Please notify our project manager if there are any areas or items requiring special attention.

Project Changes and Rescheduling

Please provide at least 72 hours notice if you need to modify the project schedule. Late cancellations or substantial schedule changes may incur a fee of $250 per day of delay.

Parking and Site Access

Please provide us with:

  • Designated parking area for work vehicles
  • Loading/unloading zone information
  • Any necessary parking permits
  • Dumpster placement location

If no instructions are provided, we will assume that parking is available. Additional charges will apply if special parking arrangements are needed. If proper instructions are not provided and our vehicles are towed, you will be responsible for all associated fees.

Material Storage

A secure area must be designated for storing materials and equipment. This area should be:

  • Protected from weather
  • Accessible to work crews
  • Away from high-traffic areas
  • Able to be locked if needed

Project Communication

We maintain open communication through:

  • Regular progress meetings
  • Written documentation of changes
  • Photo documentation of progress
  • Prompt response to questions or concerns

Privacy and Communication Policies

We are committed to protecting your privacy while maintaining effective communication throughout your project. Our privacy policies include:

  • All contact information provided will be used solely for project-related communications
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes
  • Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information are strictly confidential and will never be shared with third parties
  • Project documentation and photos are kept secure and used only for project management purposes
  • All client communication is treated as confidential and shared only with relevant project team members
